2026 Plans for the New Year

Looking Ahead – Digitalization & Further Development

As part of our ongoing digitalization efforts, we will introduce several new features next year. These changes will be implemented step by step, and we will provide detailed information in advance and throughout the process.

Planned Updates at a Glance:

• Online Tool for Certificate Verification (Starting January)
Beginning in January, we will offer an online portal for verifying the authenticity of certificates. Initially, this service will be available to authorities and border control agencies that currently submit inquiries via email. After requesting access, users can log in using two-factor authentication (2FA) and verify certificates directly – fully compliant with data protection regulations.

• Digitalization of Reports and Travel Certificates
All reports, including travel certificates, will be generated digitally. Certificates will be automatically created as PDFs and secured with an eIDAS-compliant digital seal. Initially, these documents will be sent as preliminary information with a watermark (not valid for travel purposes).
Afterwards, you will have two options:

1. Digitally Sealed Reports
   The report will be available exclusively in digital form, valid online at any time, and verifiable through a dedicated system. No paper version will be provided.
2. Optional Paper Certificate
   For an additional fee, you can still request a traditional certificate with signature and stamp. Delivery will be by post (within Europe) or by courier (arranged by you).

With these measures, we aim to further digitalize our processes, enhance security and trust, and contribute to more sustainable operations.

• Sample Submission Forms
You can already submit test requests online by clicking “sample submission” on our homepage. Please print the completed forms, sign and stamp them, and include them with the samples. In the future, we will implement direct data import to eliminate transmission errors and streamline the process.
