an import permit is required for the import of serum samples for rabies antibody testing for travel purposes. A copy of this permit must be enclosed with the submitted samples.
The import permit issued by the Hessian Ministry of Agriculture is valid for one year. A new permit has been in effect since 29 August 2026. You can download the current permit from our website and include it with your shipment.
