As a laboratory for veterinary virology we are not accredited for tests on human samples. However we offer a few tests for human samples also (e.g. detecetion of rabies antibodies after a vaccination). Please see our application form for further information (download area in the footer). The quantification of neutralizing antibodies (nAb) is generally suited to test the immune status of an individual. Test results may help to decide on the necessity of booster immunisations. This is widely used in human medicine. Please note that the costs for our tests are not covered by health insurances.
