Other tests for travelling

For the international transport of equids virological/ serological tests may be required. This can be a COGGINS-Test (agar gel immune diffusion, AGID) to show that the animal is free from antibodies against equine infectious anemia virus (EIAV). Also testing for antibodies against the equine arteritis virus (EAV) (serum neutralization assay) may be required. Here in our laboratory both tests are offered (here the submission forms for download).
